Ping Pong In Schools

Ping Pong is a game that is played at many schools and has become an integral part of any schools sports programs. The main reason for the popularity of this sport is that a game finishes in a short time so students can enjoy the sport and competitiveness even during short breaks and in the gaps between classes. Ping Pong Tables are much less expensive than equipment for other sports and thus almost every school can afford equipment for ping pong. Usually students have their own ping pong paddles since they are so affordable people buy paddles and get used to their own equipment.

Ping Pong is loved all over the world by young and adults alike, it is becoming a very popular sport and people are now starting to build or buy ping pong tables for play areas and game rooms in their own houses. If you haven't yet tried your hand at ping pong give it a try and you are sure to love the game and start playing it regularly.

Heathrow Airport installs ping-pong table

Heathrow Airport has installed a ping-pong table in Terminal Three as part of a scheme across the capital to promote British sport.

For the next month passengers will be able to enjoy a game of table tennis after a good night's sleep in their Heathrow Airport hotel in the terminal's departure lounge.

Some 100 tables have been installed in locations across London, including the London Eye, Tate Britain and the British Library, with the aim of encouraging more people to take up sport ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.

Malcolm Robertson, from Heathrow Airport, said: "Ping-pong may have started in the UK, but its popularity around the world makes it the ideal pastime to bring together passengers from all nationalities at Heathrow."

Once the four-week period is up, the table will be donated to a local organisation nominated by Heathrow Airport staff.

Passengers at the London travel hub could be facing further strikes this summer as both airport operator BAA and British Airways staff are in dispute with the Unite union over pay offers.
